No Delays from Manufacturers

California Factory is Running Smoothly and Efficiently!

On a positive note, our California factory–despite the supplier shortages–is operating smoothly and efficiently. The manufacturer has had great success hiring additional labor support and as such, aims to be at regular production on or around August 1st. They are also committed to a robust overtime schedule which is yielding results. So, Highlife Spas and Endless Pools Fitness Systems production are already at or near peak levels of production. Timelines are still long because of the recent uptick in demand, but the Highlife collection models are shipping out in an efficient manner internationally. The Mexico factory, though, remains a unique challenge. The country is still locked down, very much still in the throes of this unrelenting pandemic, and still Code Red. This means employees there are working on a voluntary basis only, and many have not or cannot return to work at this time. Critically, the social distancing requirements are being strictly enforced and are impacting the output in certain work centers. This can’t be helped, as the safety of the factory employees must be the top concern. The factory is subject to inspection and audit at any time and the penalty for being out-of-compliance is shutdown. This is not a risk worth taking. All this said, spas are being built and the hundreds of them we have on order are on the way to our valued customer’s backyards.  We again thank you for your trust and support and especially thank you for your continued patience while you wait longer than any of us hoped for the hot tubs we all deserve to have and enjoy in our backyards.
